Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or otherwise using Habitix (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree to these terms, please don't create an account or use the Service.
Eligibility & your account
You must be able to form a legally binding agreement in your jurisdiction to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Maintain one account per person — creating multiple accounts to abuse founder rewards, leagues, or leaderboards is prohibited and may result in loss of associated status or suspension.
Fair play & acceptable use
Progress in the app — XP, stats, streaks, leagues, and achievements — is meant to reflect habits you've genuinely completed. You agree not to use exploits, bots, scripts, or other automation to fabricate or manipulate progress, and not to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts. Accounts that clearly abuse the system may have features restricted or be suspended.
Your content
You retain ownership of the content you create (habit names, descriptions, notes, and support messages). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display that content solely to provide the Service to you. We don't claim ownership of your content and don't use it for any purpose beyond operating and improving the product.
Intellectual property
The Habitix name, logo, and the underlying software, design, and branding are owned by the developer and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms grants you any right to use our branding except as needed to use the Service as intended.
Service availability & changes
Habitix is currently in early access and is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Features may be added, changed, or removed as the product evolves, and we may occasionally take the Service offline for maintenance. We'll try to give reasonable notice before major changes that affect your data, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Disclaimer & limitation of liability
Habitix is a self-improvement and habit-tracking tool, not professional medical, psychological, financial, or fitness advice — use your own judgment for decisions affecting your health or well-being. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Habitix and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Habitix and its developer from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these terms.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings, effective immediately. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the Service, or pose a security risk to other users, with or without notice depending on severity.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the developer's home jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
Severability & entire agreement
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date, and where appropriate we'll notify you in-app. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the new terms.
